As anyone in their right mind has already found out, the new Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer came out earlier today. And boy was it something else. New footage of your favorite Marvel characters such as Tony Stark, Captain America, Thor, and the Hulk. But something else stood out in the trailer. That something being Scarlett Johansson's character, Black Widow.
As we all know, Black Widow is the favorite femme fatale of current movies, and rightfully so, considering she is a spy. It's no secret either that Natasha Romanova enticed all of us with her beautiful looks and secret past in the first The Avengers film. If she can get the Hulk to come out of hiding, the woman can do anything.
The new trailer opens up with a beautiful scenery, a couple of people we don't know yet, and one of Tony Stark's failed ultroids, cryptically talking about how he went from good to evil, the whole spiel of the bad guy. Violence commences and then we get to see the hunky Tony Stark and the Hulk just casually chit chatting about the Ultron program. Slow motion scenes of our heroes being heroes pass through. Not to mention either that Natasha and the Hulk are just in between slides looking like they may or not be sharing an intimate moment? Marvel, care to explain?
Finally, the trailer gets to the good part. The Avengers gang in one room together, arms crossed and serious voices to really push the idea that well, this is a serious topic. Natasha's sass just starts to get good as she looks to Tony Stark, commenting about how the failure that has the possible alias of the Ultron Program. More serious business is shown as the team suits up, then another slow motion slide passes in, in which you can just see every bit of seriousness and sass on Black Widow's face as she launches herself against an enemy. I told you, that woman can do anything.
Not only does Natasha drop out of a flying aircraft on a moving motorcycle, she does it so flawlessly with that sass look on her face, that just dares you to be moving at a slower pace in front of her. Scar Jo's character also makes a comment as she's speeding down a road behind Captain America, that she's "always picking up after you boys."
Yes Natasha. Use that sass as the lethal weapon it truly is.
Overall, the Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer is what you would expect it to be; action packed, lots of slow motion movements of action filled clips, and quite the amount of sass. Hopefully, for their next big movie, they finally produce a film dedicated to Black Widow. Marvel's Black Widow: The age of Sass.
