Ones are perfectionists. They want to do everything "well," and condemn themselves when they believe they have failed to do so. They strive for cleanliness and organization. They have many voices inside their heads telling them that they are never good enough. They hold themselves to unrealistically high expectations.

Type 1

Twos desperately need to be liked and approved of. Everything they do is done for outward confirmation. They take pride in serving others, but often secretly look down on the people they serve. They expect other people's gratitude in return for their service. Twos are very touchy-feely and like to talk about relationships. They like to be martyrs. They usually have a large circle of friends and they want to serve and therefore be vital to each one.

Type 2

Threes are achievers. They radiate ease and security, and are extremely efficient at almost any task. They are great at gaining influence and idealize victory and success. Threes are the worst type at recognizing their own feelings. They are only asking, "am I successful?" They strive to be winners and in doing so lose their true selves. Therefore, they tend to adopt personality traits of whatever group or person they happen to be with at a given time in order to be accepted. They often exaggerate their positive aspects and achievements out of a deep need for praise and approval, although those around them often perceive them as confident and secure.

Type 3

Fours are appearance-oriented people. They are constantly asking, "what do you think of me?" They know how they want to be seen, usually creative, eccentric, or extravagant, but often their efforts appear artificial. Fours are easy to recognize. They are often vegan/vegetarians, feminists, animal rights activists, or health eccentrics. They look up to poets, musicians, gurus, or others with a "deep" quality about them, and many are artists themselves. They have great taste and don't follow trends. They often have an arrogance about them to display their "aesthetic superiority," and hate anything that is plain, average, styleless, or "normal."

Type 4

Fives are innovative and imaginative. They are explorers, discoverers, and creators. They often experience an inner emptiness and long for fulfillment. Their minds are their favorite places to be. Fives are observers, so they can sometimes seem snooty or cold. They don't like to let people in. If you can look past their shy exterior, however, they are great listeners, advice-givers, and companions. They dislike attention and have a hard time acting upon the principles they believe and preach.

Type 5

Six is the most common type in Western culture. They are cooperative, reliable, and faithful. They are constantly looking out for danger. They strive for security and tend to be emotionally dependant upon others. They have very little confidence in themselves, so they are constantly seeking approval and certainty from people they perceive as authorities. They want the truth to be black and white. Sixes are careful and untrusting, and some mask that fear with an outward face of daredevil behavior.

Type 6

Sevens are people who radiate joy and optimism, and many are outwardly successful people. Their bright personalities and brilliant senses of humor are contagious to those around them, while serving to protect sevens themselves from the anxiety and pain they also experience. They suppress their negative emotions, and much of their charisma and optimism is really a guard against the pain they have in their souls.

Type 7

Eights are intimidators, but are incredibly devoted to truth and justice. They seek to break the rules and do the opposite of what people expect, but they are not good at owning up to their mistakes and apologizing because they see it as weakness. They tend to resist new and foreign ideas, people, and situations, and they like to stand with those they perceive as oppressed. They dislike authority figures and have a passion for all things righteous and fair. Eights are extremely charismatic and are great at inspiring and challenging others. They project strength and invulnerability, but are very vulnerable deep down.

Type 8

Nines are peacemakers. They have a very strong moral compass. Nines tend to be shy and introverted, sometimes due to social anxiety, but sometimes because they don't consider themselves important enough to be worthy of attention. Nines like to go with the flow and tend to bottle up their real opinions. Sometimes they even lose sight of their own opinions and needs because they are constantly paying attention to the opinions and needs of those around them. They are very genuine people, and also extremely prone to procrastination.

Type 9
