It's no secret that Latine folks have unique experiences in this world.
So we want to know: Latine people, what unwritten rules do you follow every day?
Maybe you ask for a receipt every time you're at a store in case someone accuses you of stealing.
Perhaps you have to code-switch every time you go to work so that your coworkers and boss will view you as "professional."
Or maybe you always carry your ID with you to make sure you can prove your legal status in the country.
Whatever it is, we want to hear about your experience. Latine folks, tell us the rules you follow that white people don't even have to think about, and your submission could be included in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post. If you'd like to respond anonymously, you can do so here.
