The video is the brainchild of Jonah's dad, YouTuber MysteryGuitarMan, aka Los Angeles resident Joe Penna.

Papa Joe told BuzzFeed Life that the video was inspired by Jonah's own penchant for percussion.

The little guy spends a lot of time banging wooden spoons on everything from overturned buckets to his parents hardwood flooring. Joe explains: "One time, I held his little hands and did a slightly more complicated drum rudiment. He thought it was hilarious and started cracking up. I knew we had to make it into a video."

Joe sported a black morph suit to help his son master his instruments on camera, which he initially worried would freak Jonah out.

Instead of crying, Joe told BuzzFeed Life Jonah was intrigued to see his daddy in head-to-toe black spandex. His wife didn't fare as well -- "Jonah's mom was constantly calling him and dancing just off-camera. He must have thought everyone went crazy."

Who even knew they made instruments that small?!
