Liz Petrone is a mom of four in Syracuse, NY. And this week, she got fed up with some bollocks.

Says Liz: "It's exhausting to keep having to be apologizing for something I don't even think we should have to be sorry for."
She took to her Facebook page and painted a vivid AF picture of what needs to happen every day before she can "waltz" into work.
After walking us through the routine of getting four kids out the door every morning, Liz, an IT professional, throws down the cold, hard stats: "By the time I sit in my chair at work and fire up my computer, my Fitbit says I have walked 2.5 miles. All just to get us ready and out of the house. And if walking 2.5 mikes and not actually making it anywhere at all ain't exactly what this stage of life looks like I don't what is."

As for Liz? She thinks it's amazing that her post resonated with so many people. "We are all fighting the same battles. That was part of what prompted my rant, really – people have a way of only valuing the time we spend earning a living as 'work,' when honestly some of the hardest work I do is done outside of my office."
