Despite what you see in movies and TV, not every woman wants to be a mother.
While I personally do hope to have kids one day, two of my close friends revealed they don't want them at all.
I remember one of them being nervous to tell our friend group, because another friend in the group is currently pregnant with her first child. Well, we quickly let them know that they should never worry about talking to us about it, but we also reassured them that their feelings and decisions were valid.
So, then I started to wonder about other women who feel the same way. If you're one of them, I want to hear from you. When did you realize you didn't want kids and what was the deciding factor(s)?
And if you've expressed this decision to others, did you feel supported?
Maybe you're an aunt who loves fulfilling that role, but also enjoys returning your niece or nephew to their parents when the day is over.
Or maybe you'd rather trade in pampers for passport stamps and a dream home.
