In the photos, Jamie is seen wearing a crocheted hat, aviators, and a white shirt, while holding a pair of red Crocs and leaning against a villa.

"You’re lookin at a man who is thankful," Jamie wrote in his Instagram caption. "Finally starting to feel like myself. It’s been an unexpected dark journey…but I can see the light."

"I’m thankful to everyone that reached out and sent well wishes and prayers. I have a lot of people to thank. You just don’t know how much it meant."

He added that he plans to thank each of those people personally, while also emphasizing how good God has been in his life.

This update comes nearly a month after Jamie released his first Instagram video speaking about his health scare.

The Academy Award–winning actor was initially hospitalized back in April for an undisclosed illness. Both Jamie and his daughter, Corinne Foxx, have continued to share details about his recovery on social media.
