16 Things Only College Students Taking Summer Classes Will Understand As Told By "The Office"

"The worst thing about summer classes was - was the Dementors."

    1. Receiving an email from your professor during your summer break that "you need to go ahead and buy the textbook because we will hit the ground running.”

    2. Determining who you should sit next to because you've never seen any of these "students" before.

    3. Professors telling you they are "so excited to be here" and you should be too.

    4. And reminding you this a fast-paced class and you need to pay extra attention or you will fall behind.

    5. Reading the syllabus on the first day and seeing the obscene amount of homework you have every night.

    6. Then realizing your first test is only four days away.

    7. Sitting in a stuffy classroom while all your friends are soaking up the sun on vacation.

    8. Taking excessive notes from more PowerPoints than you have ever wanted to see in your life.

    9. Pretending to still be interested 2 hours into your professor's lecture.

    10. Taking in so much information in one week that you're unsure if you even know what class you're taking anymore.

    11. Trying to write an essay in one day you would normally have a month to work on in a regular semester.

    12. Three weeks in and you still don't see the light at the end of the tunnel

    13. Never seeing your friends because you are either in class or working on your never-ending pile of homework.

    14. The constant reminder that if you don't pass this class you won't graduate or get a job... but still not really caring.

    15. Walking out of the final with an overwhelming feeling of accomplishment that you've just finished an entire semester's worth of work in one month.

    16. Then realizing fall semester is about to start in two weeks.
