In elementary school we had a unit in P.E. on cup stacking.

I know. Not physical or educational.

The same nerdy SpeedStacks man with a tucked in polo (but no belt) would come every year and sell us flimsy, bright colored cups in black mesh bags.

He tricked all of us by bringing in 'cool' middle schoolers who could stack those cups in 3-6-3s and 1-10-1s like it was nobody's business. Those were WILD times.

I was a horrible cup stacker because...

I was more interested in throwing sacks and tennis balls at them like that one carnival game that's ALWAYS rigged. I never let poor Brad Wilson achieve his PB in cup stacking.

But guess what MILLENNIALS? SpeedStacks cup stacking is still a thing in 2016. Watch their promo video below ft. some very serious stackers.

Did you hear that? Every year there is a World Championship with kids competing from all over the globe. AND 48 million sets of cups have been made since their founding. WILD.

After some investigative phone calls to determine whether or not these 'cups' were BPA free or nah, the Colorado based SpeedStacks Inc. receptionist answered "What? What is BPA?"

Hmmmm. Fishy. Very fishy, indeed.

Who are we even supposed to trust? First we drink from Nalgenes for 40 years before they tell us about BPA and now our beloved stacking cups.

The WILDEST part of all is that there is a spin off of SpeedStacks called "Race Cups" and that PEOPLE ACTUALLY BUY THEM.

Unfortunately, things don't look so great for SpeedStacks as they've implemented the Croc model. When things go South, add more s*#@ to put on the dying product so it sinks faster.
