As someone struggling to take care of business in my ONE life, I am always shocked to hear stories about people living double lives. Even more shocking? When we learn someone in our own community or family is leading a double life.
For example, maybe someone you know secretly had a second (or even third) family that the first family didn’t know about.
Or maybe a mild-mannered person at your job — or a teacher at your school — was revealed to secretly be a backyard wrestler, a drag performer, or in a punk band!
Maybe you knew someone seemingly living a commonplace existence who later turned out to be a secret agent or an undercover detective.
Or maybe the unassuming person you know had a double life in crime, and was secretly — oh, I don't know — a drug lord.
