The Instagram account @paintdatface recently posted this makeup look transforming a white woman into a black woman.
Along with the image, the makeup artist included a "disclaimer", stating that the look wasn't about "a race change" but rather about celebrating other cultures.
Following backlash, @paintdatface made their Instagram private, but not before Twitter got ahold of the post and collected the receipts.
Most people were disgusted by the literal blackface going on.
While others tried to defend @paintdatface, by claiming it was done in the name of art.
Though people were really just not having it.
But tbh, almost everyone was just wondering why the makeup artist didn't use a black model to celebrate black culture.
And, well, why exactly white people were even commenting about something that isn't their issue.
