Seoul is a haven for those with curious taste buds and adventurous spirits. On any given day, you can lunch on spicy fried chicken, snack on still-squirming seafood, and go crazy on all the sweet, flaky pastries Seoul is known for. And as if the culinary indulgences weren't enough, you can top it all of with a night on the town enjoying the Korean capital's famous drinking culture with the help of sweet, slightly bubbly magkeolli.

You're a social butterfly and there's nowhere that'd be more accommodating to your eating style than Taiwan. Here, street food prevails and the scores of packed night markets means you'll never run out of sweet, savory, and fried foods to share with your friends. Thankfully, biking culture and numerous national parks also mean you'll have the opportunity to burn it all off in a leisurely way.

You're pretty open-minded when it comes to food and pop culture, but that doesn't mean you don't have standards. Your tastes would best be satisfied by Japan's food scene, which is just as wide-ranging and fine-tuned as your palate. One of the most international Asian capitals out there, Singapore boasts a huge expat community and a drool-inducing selection of East Asian and Southeast Asian foods. It's a bit more posh than other destinations in Asia, meaning you can take advantage of Michelin-starred grub and high tea cakes, in the same day that you snack on beef skewers and rice noodles.

You're a curious person who has a hard time making decisions, and nowhere would be more apt for your fervent imagination than Vietnam. Vietnam exudes French and Chinese influences, meaning everything from the architecture and culture to the drink and food, is layered and complex. The coffee culture here is especially unique, with fare like egg coffee and uber sweet iced coffee becoming the subject of every Instagram snap. As far as food, you'll enjoy pho, noodles, and bánh mì sandwiches so delicious you won't complain about munching on them every day.

Tradition plays a big part in India, and you'll see it in everything from the stunning and pristinely kept religious sites, to its indigenous animal reserves, and obviously, to its food. From chicken korma and chicken vindaloo, to chana dal and pakora, you'll be able to broaden your palate as you taste spices and complex layerings of flavors you'd never thought possible.
