What Are Your Favorite Classic Moments From Black Television Shows?

We all have that one episode or moment that sticks out.

For years, beloved black television shows from The Jeffersons to Sister, Sister, to Girlfriends and countless others have been important fixtures on our TV screens and in pop culture overall.

And over the years, there are certainly tons of moments from your favorite black sitcoms that you've come to call favorites.

Like the emotional episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air when Will breaks down in front of Uncle Phil about his absent father...

...or the iconic episode of Family Matters when Steve Urkel transforms into Stefan Urquelle.

And animated shows are definitely not off-limits. Maybe you remember the Kwanzaa-themed Rugrats episode resonating with you when you were younger...

...or even the civil rights episode of The Proud Family, when Penny Proud is transported back in time to 1955.

And yes, even moments from new shows are welcome, like when Cookie from Empire used a broom on her son Hakeem in a much-talked-about scene during the show's pilot episode.

No matter which iconic, classic, or hella-memorable black show moments you love, we want to know what it is.
