There are many makeup trends out there to capture the perfect selfie or to impress the friends. Contouring has been the go to for awhile, with strobing coming in a close second. Recently to splash the pages of magazines such as Marie Claire is nontouring.

Non-touring does the opposite from the heavy edged contour look by creating a soft glow to the skin and nobody has to know you're wearing it except you!

Step 1: Start with your primer

If your skin tends to get oily, pick up a primer that has a shimmer to it and is less matte.

Step 2: This is a more natural, light look and requires a BB cream or tinted moisturizer instead of a foundation

Step 3. Highlighting!

Highlighting is not news to the world, but it might be when paired with nontouring. For someone with a lighter complexion pick out a highlighter with a pinkish coloring to it so you don't turn into a pumpkin.

For those beauties out there who tan easily or have a darker complexion head for the golden highlights. Make sure to apply the highlights to the spots on your face where light touches the most such as the spot above your cheekbones and the bridge of your nose.
