Steve Jobs: Official Biography Arriving In 2012

The first “Official” biography for Apple co-founder Steve Jobs will hit store shelves and iBooks in early 2012. The book, titled iSteve: The Book of Jobs is being written by famous biographer Walter Isaacson. While details about the book are being kept under wraps, we have been told that Isaacson was given “unprecedented” access to Steve Jobs, Apple and even Jobs’ family members. The book is being published and distributed by Simon & Schuster. According to the publisher: “This is the perfect match of subject and author, and it is certain to be a landmark book about one of the world’s greatest innovators. Just as he did with Einstein and Benjamin Franklin, Walter Isaacson is telling a unique story of revolutionary genius.” In the meantime, pick up the movie Pirates of Silicon Valley, it’s probably wrong about plenty of details, but both the portrayal of Steve Jobs and Microsoft founder Bill Gates are fun to watch.
