Courtney Fletcher Bennett wanted to give her daughter Emma a unique gift.
She purchased an American Girl doll and sent it to A Step Ahead Prosthetics, who fitted the doll with a prosthetic leg in Emma's favorite color, pink.

Emma received the doll with a letter describing the doll's journey. So far, the video has received over 11 million views.
After a few weeks of training, she is ready to go home and lead a life without limitations with you.
It's a wonderful gift for a young girl like Emma and a great motivator for American Girls to manufacture dolls for children who may feel different or awkward due to a physical handicap.
If Emma's reaction is any indication, children would clearly love a toy as unique as they are.
