One Thing We All Need To Stop Doing

One thing that we (mostly girls) picked up over the past few years that we need to STOP doing. This might be a little hypocritical, but I'll take that chance.

I promise you that you will live if you never read another article that tells you how to live your life again.

Numbered articles are taking over the Facebook Newsfeed. I'm scrolling down my feed and all I see is "20 things we should be doing in our twenties," "8 bad dating habits," and so on. There are seriously thousands of articles out there with a countdown of bad dating habits or things we waste our times on, etc. How can we read all of these articles and think that we need to change our lives to be exactly like the articles we read?! THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF THEM.. there is a reason for that.

1. Stop thinking you need to change your life based on every article you read.

There are literally hundreds of articles telling you how you should be living your life. Have you ever wondered why there are so many people telling you to do so many things in these articles? It's because everyone learns how to live THEIR life. Everyone is different and not every article you read is going to apply well to your life. You don't need to read a huffington post or elite daily article to tell you how to live your life - you can write your own article as you grow up, just like all of the authors you're reading about.

I'm not saying these articles don't have good advice because a lot of them do. All I'm saying is do not go to your boyfriend every week and say, "Babe, this article I just read on elitedaily said we are doing a shitty job at dating." Make up your own rules and learn from your own mistakes - they're going to happen regardless.
