One cold February night in 2011, the cat who would come to be known as Mr. Cuddles trembled on a south Minneapolis doorstep. He sought shelter at the home of Kelly and Liam, and their twin daughters Val and Bella. He quickly won their hearts with his warm, friendly purr-sonality and polydactyl paws - he has 7 toes on each paw!!!
In March 2012, Mr. Cuddles was diagnosed with stomatitis, an infection of the gums and teeth. This disease is very painful and Mr. Cuddles cannot eat. He is rapidly losing weight and needs all of his teeth extracted. There is no successful alternative treatment through medicine.
Mr. Cuddles is an amazing, friendly, sweet cat. We are trying to raise money for at least part of his procedure, which costs $1,000. Although Kelly, Liam, Val and Bella love Mr. Cuddles very much, if they don't raise enough money, he will have to be put to sleep.
He's only 3 years old and has a lot more life to live! Even if you can only donate $1, every little bit counts. We need your help!! Save Mr. Cuddles so that he may smile again!
