I've been a major Taylor Swift fan since she released her first single, Tim McGraw, in June 2006-- I've officially been a Swiftie for over a decade. So, naturally, when I opened my timeline this morning to see the drama unfolding and the backlash against Taylor it was creating, I was like:
I immediately joined the digital ranks of Swifties all around the world defending Taylor and questioning Kim Kardashian's motives, petty character, and clear lack of integrity.
I couldn't believe there were so many headlines about the drama, about the number of people taking Kim/Kanye's side, negative stories about Taylor and even her besties.
