These Are The Black Hairstyles That I Think Can Survive A Sexy Session

Guaranteed to keep you looking cute in the kinkiest conditions.

I don't know about you, but as a Black woman, I love switching up my hairstyle on a regular basis, and if you can relate, you'll know we can do it so effortlessly.

But I know something that would make these hairstyles more beneficial — being able to withstand some intense sexy time.

Now, there are some hairstyles I wouldn't even entertain the idea of getting busy wit' it in, unless I was fully protected. I'm talking, hair wrapped and tied in a satin scarf, with a bonnet on top, and even then it's a risky game.

If it isn't obvious, combining straightened hair with sweat is a no. Silk turns into a 'fro real quick, and all you'll have is selfies you took earlier to show for it.

Don't get me wrong, I'm here for luscious hair defying gravity, but not right now!

So if you're in need of a list, providing safe and protective hair-do's that understand the assignment, I've got you:

Box-braids: the muva of protective styles.

    Cornrows: the runner up.

Twists with extensions: pure twisting and turning shall commence!

Slick back ponytails: anything involving Got2Be hairspray can be trusted.

Your natural 'fro: if all you have to do is re-pick, then it's calm.

Weaves with natural hair textures: This is basically my hair, and you can't tell me otherwise.

Bantu-knots: annoying to sleep in, but reliable to bust it open in.

Locs: locked in and ready for battle.

Faux locs: Your hair shouldn't be the only thing wrapped up — but at least it is.

Buzz cut: No hair, just vibes.

Wash 'n' go live your best life.

The back of a curly haired girl, with brown hair.

Wigs: Don't ask me about lace fronts. This is all about the ones that come on and off daily.

Top knot bun: It needs to be secured tight and slicked.

Anything crocheted: If it's tucked in, I can tuck in.

But if you’ve ever thought about other styles that should be avoided no matter how brave you're feeling, so have I.

Old braids: If you want to see one or two of them on the floor, then proceed.

Clip ins: more like clipped in than ripped out.

Tape ins: aka ripped out with thin edges.

So there you have it, some of my do's and dont's when getting frisky and maintaining Black hair.

If it isn't that deep to you, that's fine, but there's nothing wrong with noting down some faithful hairdos for the girlies who want to slay while being slayed.
