    My muse for ideas of this nature was pulled from the headlines and popular culture. Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz announced a new PR campaign that their baristas would engage customers in conversations about race in America. I'm all for it! But for the inspiration of my project, I had my own spin on it. Enjoy!

    Maurice Tyson Bio

    Maurice Tyson was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and was drawn to acting after watching Sidney Poitier in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. He later went on to study the craft in high school and college programs. After college, he scored roles in independent films like Up In Harlem starring Law and Order's star Ice T.

    He has been a SAG / AFTRA member since 2001. He had a small speaking role in the feature film Fantastic Four. When not in front of the camera, he was behind the microphone doing various animated episodes of MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch. His voice has been compared to Dennis Haysbert, Keith David and James Earl Jones on various radio commercials. His goals remain true to his passion : love of the written word keeps him focused on screenwriting. When not writing, he remains active in woodworking, painting and sports.
