This 11-Year-Old Surfer Gave The Best Live TV Interview Ever

"Yeah my dad was an athlete but now he's, um, pretty fat."

Sabre Norris may be the youngest ever surfer to compete in a major Australian event, but she also became one of the most adored Aussies after this brutally funny interview with the Today show.

Hand-picked by Sally Fitzgibbons as a wildcard to compete in the Sydney International Women's Pro, Sabre explained she was super excited, even if she placed last.

She was then asked if her dad had inspired her surfing journey.

Obviously the Today team were loving the whole thing.

Meanwhile, I'm sure Sabre's dad was so proud of her, possibly celebrating her talents with a tub of ice cream.
