Unofficial king of the internet Kanye West decided to join Instagram recently, and in 24 hours gained over 700,000 followers.
Back in March, Kanye tweeted about potentially joining Instagram, and laid out his vision for how he'd use the platform.

Totally agree. That's why my Instagram is basically just photos of me holding food.
Oh and FYI, the image he uploaded comes from the 1990 film Total Recall, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
More than likely it's because Yeezy has taken inspiration from Total Recall for years.
Or maybe he just loves the bit where the woman flashes Arnold her three boobs.
Anyway now you're all caught up. Kanye is on Instagram and this tweet from 2013 is totally irrelevant now.
