What We've Lost To The Social Web

    Search the mists of the time (roughly 7 years), the fog of social networks (before everyone you knew was on Facebook), and the haze of emergent online identities (when your identity was your website) and you can see The Web As It Once Was, as recounted by Anil Dash. I miss that web too, but mostly for its simplicity, so I think the operating mode here is largely one of nostalgia.
