I don’t know what to think. On the one hand I see how he is a complete douchebag and only cares about himself. He IS comfortable in his own skin, but I wonder if he understands other people’s perspectives or if his world view is very narrow. What upsets me is that guys like him and other millionaires and billionaires are the reason we have so many impoverished people, because really there is only so much money to go around. And when all of that money is diverted to one person instead of say 1,000, then 1,000 people are missing out on possible financial stability. On the other hand seeing what someone can do with financial freedom is exciting. The glamour and the “Boss” like achievements that come with it are undeniable. I think the big question everyone is asking on here is whether or not he is happy. If he is happy, and maybe he is, then that is what works for him. Everyone wants something different out of life. Some people want true love. That’s fine, but what is true love? To me True Love is having your best friend. Having someone that loves you fat or thin. Having someone you can talk to about anything. They are also someone that has similar taste, but also can tweak and challenge your perspective on life every now and again. For other people, true love is the hottest girl/ guy you could ever get. Or the most beautiful dress in the world. Or having tons of call girls around you all the time.
I find myself questioning which side I really fit on. Most of the time I feel like I wouldn’t want this douchebag fantasy, but I always second guess it by asking myself if I feel that way because I haven’t experienced it? So I think it’s easy to label this guy one way or another, but it seems like he is pretty happy. Perhaps it is a douchebag fantasy, but he is a douchebag and he doesn’t care. I respect his ability to thrive as a douche, but also upset by the economical consequences of people like him. It is not our job to judge, but only accept and let the universe take care of the rest.
