1. A fragrance-free allergen spray to help blast away all the things in your house that contribute to the sneeze-itch-redness-inducing anarchy that your body tries to exact on you. It's meant for the air AND surfaces in your space, BTW.

reviewer's bottle of spray

It's designed to reduce pet dander, dust mites, and cockroach allergens! You'll receive the bottle with powder already inside and all you have to do is mix it with water 💧. Also, guess what? You'll be happy to know that this is by a small, family-owned business on Amazon called Allergy Asthma Clean. Check out this cool note from the brand:

"This product isn't just an ordinary allergen spray. It changed my life. I have had severe allergies and asthma since I was 3. When I was 5, I almost died from an allergy-induced asthma attack. After I got out of the hospital, my father and a team of dedicated chemists formulated this product. I would never be able to live with dogs or cats without this product. I had trouble traveling before this product. This allergen spray changed my life, and I am so thankful that I can bring this product to you. Just because you have an invisible disease does not make you invisible." —Savannah, cofounder of Allergy Asthma Clean

Promising review: "Great clean product. I've had this for close to three months before I decided to write a review. This thing did wonders for me. First, let me say that I am allergic to dust mites, really bad! To the point of major swelling. I used this spray for an entire week straight and I was able to sleep peacefully. No swelling, no issues. I then stopped using it for a week because I wanted to make sure it wasn't just the air filter I bought. Not using it for a week made my swelling come back; I used it again and it stopped. So, this does indeed work; it's not snake oil. I sprayed it in the center of the room and also sprayed the corners. It works." —Enrique Vargas

Get it from Amazon for $19.99 and don't forget the refill packs so you can minimize plastic waste 🌎.

2. A set of blackout curtains because sure, the natural light in your home is what made you fall in love with the space, but all that waking up with the birds every morning is, well, for the birds. Time to end all that!

And they come in colors that are actually cute! I'm really obsessed with the Fresh Green color.

Promising review: "I am absolutely in love with these curtains. The material is thick and heavy. Definitely true blackouts. The color is just as described if not better. It has definitely exceeded my expectations. I will be ordering other colors for sure. Don’t hesitate. Order them now!" —Key Monique

Get it from Amazon for $17.95+ (available in multiple sizes and 25 colors).

4. A Pura wall plug-in that may be the reason you hang up candles once you get into this super-customizable scent experience.

BuzzFeed / Marquaysa Battle

So, I own this, LOVE it, and just might be a reformed candle burner. The plug-in takes two different scent cartridges (two will come with your plug-in and after they run out, you can replace those exactly or get different ones). You can control which scent it lets out into the room, the time it does that, the scent intensity (!!!), how long the scent/entire cartridge stays on, the night-light, AND the night-light's brightness — all through the Pura app. My fave features of these are the scheduling and scent intensity controls. The scheduling is a great way to conserve your fragrance so it's not just going on when you're not even benefitting from it. You can also choose to have it turn off automatically when you leave the house (according to your phone's distance away from the device/your home). I love the scent intensity controls much better than my traditional candle use. I've run into too many candles that smelled great in-store but didn't really move through the actual room once lit at home. Like, if I wanted just a flame and vibes, I would have bought a scentless one 🙄. With the Pura device, I'm always satisfied with the scent and how much of it wafts through my spot, because it's always 100% controlled by me. It's a small luxury item that def contributes to making my home the peaceful getaway I like for it to be. And?! The app will let you know when your cartridge is low so you can re-up before you're out.

Promising review (from someone that's not me): "I love my Pura Smart Diffuser. As someone who uses multiple smart home products, this was one of the easiest smart products to setup, install, and the app is incredibly user friendly. We are testing the lavender scent on a lower intensity in our larger master bathroom, and you can smell it throughout the entire room. No doubt, we will be ordering a few more for the kitchen, guest rooms, and additional bathrooms. Looking forward to trying out other fragrances." —Charlie Palmer

Get it from Amazon for $91.88+ (available with the plug-in device and two fragrance cartridges; available in multiple dual-fragrance options and don't forget the replacement cartridges).

5. Marble Pothos plants to bless your space with some gorgeous live greenery.

The Pothos plant hanging in a macrame hanger
Brumley and Bloom

Brumley and Bloom is a woman-owned small business based in Fenton, Michigan, that has such a great variety of plants (like their gorg string of tears plants) based on your tastes and experience with them. My BuzzFeed coworker Christine Forbes adores the ones she got from this shop. Peep her blurb ahead:

"I've ordered four plants from Brumley and Bloom and they all arrived healthy and beautiful! Just make sure they get plenty of sun after you unbox. Pothos plants can survive in any lighting conditions. Place them anywhere you want. Just...don't eat it (that includes your pets)."

Promising review (from a customer that's not Christine): "10/10, 5 stars, would totally recommend. It was stuck in the postal system for over a week but, because of how it was packaged, it survived! And even has new growth! I’m so, so happy." —jeanruth

Get it from Brumley and Bloom on Etsy for $11.25+ (available in three sizes).

6. A giant leaning mirror made of shatterproof glass so you can decorate your home with the finest thing already in it: YOU! :)

Amazon, BuzzFeed / Marquaysa Battle

I own this mirror and WOW. I was def hesitant to purchase a mirror that cost more than the lil' skinny $5 ones I usually buy 😅. But this time, I wanted a big bawdy one that doesn't make me look bigger or smaller depending on how it leans. (FYI, I googled why that happens, and apparently, it means your mirror is bent. 🙃) So, I purchased this BIG GIRL that won't bend and will help me see my outfit from head to toe. It's quite pretty, looks exactly how it's pictured online if not better, and can be easily moved from room to room if you like. Also, it was shipped with AMAZING care so it wouldn't shatter en route which was my biggest concern about buying a mirror online. The seller wrapped this thang like they were preparing it to survive an apocalypse — loads of Styrofoam padding, bubble wrap, plus extra cardboard with bubble wrap built INSIDE of the cardboard and ALL OF THAT inside another unusually thick cardboard box. Truly the panic room of packaging, IMO. Should I buy another mirror for another bedroom in my house, I'll def purchase this exact one again.

Promising review (from someone that's not me ): "Absolutely stunning, packaged very well, and easy to stand up. I’m a TALL girl (a little over 5-foot-10) and having a mirror that was large enough for me was very important. This does exactly that but isn’t so big that it takes up too much space. The gold trim is super classy and adds an expensive-looking quality to the mirror and my room. Overall amazing and definitely worth the buy!" —Bria Million

Get it from Amazon for $109.99+ (available in 12 sizes, and 33 different styles).

7. A bath pillow because your bathroom could so be the in-home spa you always dreamed of.

A two-fold pillow attached to the rim of the bath tub

Promising review: "This bath pillow is wonderful! I had the blow-up terry pillow and ditched it for this and I am so glad I did. This pillow is extremely comfortable and the best pillow I have ever tried. It looks as though it would attach easily to any tub. My tub is curved and there was no problem with it conforming to my tub. It stays put with no slippage. The suction cups hold very well. If you want to remove it, then I recommend peeling the suction cups away with your fingernail to prevent ripping the pillow. I recommend removing it and placing it on the side of the tub to air-dry to prevent any mold from building up behind it... You will not be disappointed." —Christina

Get it from Amazon for $24.99+ (available in seven colors and three sizes).

8. OR — a full-body bath pillow your entire body will probably beg you to lounge on for longer than your typical soak session.

It has 3D cushioning that dries quickly and resists mold so you don't get that nasty mildew smell AND a cool bag for easy toting and storage.

Promising review: "I LOVE this product! I have whiplash and the pillow provides nice support for my neck while the deluxe-model mat provides cushion for my aching back. Additionally, I usually slide down into the tub because I’m short. The pillow and mat provide support so that doesn’t happen. I have a semi-porous finish on my tub, so it’s very hard to find a pillow that will adhere to that surface. This one has many extra-large suction cups, holding the mat in place. For anyone having trouble with that issue, the trick is to put the mat in before adding the water and press hard on each suction cup. The suction cups are easy to remove. Just empty the tub and slide them... So, all of you bath lovers out there, add your Epsom salts or whatever and relax away!!" —Amazon Customer

Get it from Amazon for $45.97 (available with or without a pillow).

9. Closet dividers! I own these and I can promise that your brain will feel so much better walking into a super-nonproblematic closet.

BuzzFeed / Marquaysa Battle

Y'all, it was time to make a change because stuff was literally starting to fall on my head when I had to get something from a "stack" on the shelf 🙃. I was gonna go with those cute fabric storage cubes but ultimately decided that dividers would be the best solution. They let me a) See everything on the shelf at one time and b) Adjust the spacing later if I need to. They're made specifically for wire shelves like the ones in my closet and they were so easy to pop into place without damaging the wall behind the shelf. Love an easy install! I bought one pack to see how I'd like them and ultimately bought a second to fill both shelves in my closet.

Promising review (from someone that's obvs not me): "I wish I would have bought these a long time ago. I was using baskets to store my folded items on the shelf but I kept forgetting what clothes I had and it also didn't look too great. I switched to these and they are great. These keep your folded items upright, your pile of clothes will not fall over. My shelves now look tidy and I can see all of my clothes." —Charmaine

Get a pack of four from Amazon for $22.99 or a pack of eight for $35.99.

10. A wine rack that quite literally looks like "home" and will bring all of the elegance to your passion for cheap vino and glasses.,

Promising review: "I wanted a rack to hold wine bottles instead of just putting them on top of the refrigerator and all of the ones that you put on the counter were $20–$40. Then, I saw this one and liked the looks of it. I have had it on my wall for a couple of weeks now and love it! It actually holds five normal bottles of wine or four of the big ones. It's very well made and a great value.." —KMVOLZ

Get it from Amazon for $24.99+ (available in five styles).

11. And light-dimming stickers (speaking of bright lights that disturb your sleep). These'll prevent the blinking lights on all of your electronics from keeping you awake and your mind racing when you're trying to rest in a room with electronics.,

Also, yes, you can use it to cover up the camera on your laptop if you're like me and regularly think about the fact that the government is probably, definitely watching your every move. BTW, these light-dimming stickers are meant to decrease the stark brightness, not eliminate the light altogether. The package comes with over 100 dimming stickers meant to diminish about 50%–80% of the light.

Promising review: "I wish I'd had these for the last 15 years. If you have electronics in your bedroom and hate the light they put out, then this is what you're looking for. Now all my chargers are nice and dim, my Bluetooth audio device no longer guides ships safely to shore, and I can leave my amplifier on a sleep timer without planes headed into the nearby international airport mistaking it for runway lights. If you have an overly bright indicator light under a smooth surface, this is the solution... I used to have to open up my electronics and draw on the LEDs with a Sharpie or stick black sheets of paper in front of the lights, but this is a much simpler solution." —J.G. Kerns

Get it from Amazon for $7.49.

12. A Radiate portable campfire (yes, from Shark Tank!) that'll turn your backyard into your favorite fall getaway location.

I now do wash when any baby (two) or adult (two) is running low on their clothes. Before purchasing, I wondered how much each of the four bags could hold. I have one bag designated to my husband, one to me, one to linens, and one to babies. My husband's (who wears a size L or XL) bag held one week's worth of clothes. ALL IN JUST ONE OF THE FOUR. By the way, lots of reviewers noted that these curtains can be difficult to hang up by yourself because the lights get tangled but many shared a hack: Don't untie the long lights from each other until you've already hung up the curtain.

Promising review: "I am so in love with these lights! They were so easy to put up (took me about five minutes). They add such beauty to my room. I am so happy with this purchase." —Amazon Customer

33. An Angry Mama microwave cleaner so food and juices wipe off smooth and easy when they do happen to splatter everywhere and no one'll find gunk and get mad when it's their turn to warm up food.

The microwave cleaner is actually a small bottle shaped like a woman's shoulders and head. Her head has tiny holes where the cleaning concoction will spurt from to clean the microwave. It's sitting inside of a microwave.

Just add water and vinegar and place this gadget inside for five to eight minutes. Afterward, the nasty splatters will wipe right off. Enforcing a "must use the Angry Mama" rule is also a great, fun, and memorable way to teach the entire household that they shouldn't forget to cover stuff in the microwave, but when they do, they had BETTER clean it up.

Promising review: "I usually clean the microwave with a Mr. Clean Eraser. My sister recommended this so I got one. It helped remove cooked-on sauces, cheese, and everything that my daughters made but did not clean up after. This worked beautifully. I used it and just took a paper towel to wipe everything away that was loosened up. One thing: DO add the drops of lemon juice or your home will smell like vinegar for at least an hour!" —Chilcote

35. A touchless trashcan with a motion sensor that'll pop open the lid whenever you want to throw anything away. It also comes with a lemon-scented fragrance cartridge so it'll hold the dirty stinky trash smells in and instead let a citrusy smell out.

The trash can runs on an AC adapter (included) or four AA batteries, which are sold separately.

Promising review: "This trash can is just the right size for our bathroom. My purpose in buying it was to have a covered trash can that reduces odor. This can does that. As a bonus, I like the way the bag is held into place such that it never falls down into the can and is not visible from the outside of the can." —Charles Bartlett

36. A three-tier shelf to put over the toilet for more storage and organization space. I love that it's made of faux wood, which means it'll also look like actual home decor, unlike the sterile plastic and metal ones.,

Based on the review photos, this cute shelf will be a godsend for tiny bathrooms.

Promising review: "DO NOT HESITATE!!! Purchase this! You won’t find a better price. I looked at Walmart, Target, Wayfair, Overstock... They all had the same thing for way more $. This is the best price you’ll find this for! It's so sleek and clean and cute! We have a tiny bathroom and wanted to add more storage without taking up room. This was PERFECT! It even came with bolts to nail it into the wall so it’s secure, which was super thoughtful considering I have a little one. Love this!!!" —Kaytlin Gordon

37. An attachable silicone colander so draining things doesn't have to be so...ya know...draining. It'll work for your pots, pans, and bowls. And yeah, cooking at home will be wayyy better with this baby.

It's dishwasher safe, FDA approved, and it'll save you space those larger sifters usually take up. Also, I bought this thing and use it whenever I cook pasta. It works exactly as advertised. I really love that it's so easy to clean (by hand or dishwasher) and incredibly easy to store when it's not in use. It's definitely made my transitions smoother when I'm cooking pasta and need to go from the stove to the drain really quickly.

Promising reviews: "This is the coolest kitchen gadget I've bought in a long time. No filling the dishwasher with huge colanders. You snap this on your cooking pot and drain. Then, after a quick wash in the sink, you're done. It holds securely and I've only lost a few noodles over the top edge when the pan was too small for what I was making. I made angel hair pasta fully expecting it to go all through the holes like a regular colander and they didn't even poke through, let alone come out!" —Holly B. Nash

38. A door draft stopper to keep the heat or the cool air in your home instead of letting it seep out. It's also made of waterproof silicone and meant to prevent bugs and light amounts of water from coming in, too.

Promising review: "I bought it because there was a HUGE gap underneath the door leading into my house from the garage. Anytime I walked by it, I could feel a ton of cold air coming through... It comes longer than the average door so measure twice and cut once. Then, peel the adhesive off and stick on the door. I'm pretty sure a monkey could do it and actually do a decent job. I definitely feel less cold air which also means less hot air when it hits 110 degrees in August. In conclusion, if you have a gap under your door, then buy this thing. It'll pay for itself with the heater/AC kicking on less often." —Username taken

39. Cleaning packets that'll only require you to stick the packet into your garbage disposal and turn it on. Finally, an end to the odor climbing from your sink and making itself at home all over your kitchen.,

BTW, it's lemon scented and the packets are biodegradable so they won't screw up the environment once they go down your drain and out into the sewage.

Promising review: "We moved into a townhouse that had a garbage disposal in the kitchen. I never had one growing up and didn't think too much about it until the funky smell started. I researched ways to clean it and came across these. I decided to order a four-pack and try them. THEY ARE LIFE CHANGING. Just run some water, toss the packet in, and turn on the disposal. The little packet does all the hard work for you. I order a new set as soon as we start to run low." —Lucas Brothers
