Here Are All The Ways Tony Abbott Is Giving Malcolm Turnbull The Shits

When Malcolm's away, Tony comes out to play.

Have you noticed in the last 48 hours, with Malcolm Turnbull overseas being the prime minister, Tony Abbott is now everywhere?

On Friday morning, Tony Abbott didn't just drop an exclusive to The Australian on his thoughts about the government's "healthy welfare card" for Indigenous communities ...

He wrote an entire op-ed about it in the newspaper, saying criticism that the program was racist was wrong.

If that wasn't enough, Abbott also dropped a front page exclusive to the other big newspaper in town, speaking out for political donations reform.

And because Tony Abbott was suggesting a position that was different from Turnbull, yep, it got picked up by the other guys.

You think we're done? We're not done. Yesterday, Abbott, who has been in WA for a week staying in a remote community, gave an interview to ABC News about Indigenous recognition.

And to top it off, Abbott gave a radio interview in which he said Malcolm Turnbull's decision to call a royal commission into youth detention was an act of "panic".

Ok. So watch this vine of Tony Abbott's "pledge" that he won't snipe or undermine Malcolm Turnbull.

And then look at this photo of Malcolm Turnbull in Micronesia wearing a snazzy shirt.

All this ~not sniping~ from Tony Abbott must be going over really well rn.
