That is why a lot of them are already signing up celebrity endorsers to associate their products with these famous people. In turn, these companies gain brand recognition and recall.

Turn on the television and watch season enders of top-rating shows and special events like the Super Bowl and you'll spot a celebrity or two not hawking food or clothes, but gadgets and gizmos to appeal to tech-heads who love pouring money on gadgets and accessories like the USB 3.0 docking station. A lot of them have considered their endorsements of tech products as a boost in their careers too. Here is a look at some of them:

The Brazilian supermodel with legs that go on for days spiced up the Mac vs. PC wars in the early 2000s by siding with Mac. She was one of the stars that was signed up for the "Get a Mac" campaign by Apple. It was a love it or hate it campaign, but the results were clearly in favor of both Bundchen and Steve Jobs' company. The campaign was so effective it resulted in about 65 versions running for about a year. Her version was that of getting better results when you use a Mac for editing movies instead of a PC.

To date, this program has raised about $7 million with the help of Marino. The Korean tech giant has counted on Marino’s sports hero appeal to convince people who invest on a Kanex USB 3.0 docking station and Mac gadgets to convert to Samsung, with moderate results.
