An Underage Kid Was Arrested With A "McLovin" Fake ID And You Know Seth Rogen Had The Best Take

Every detail of this story is amazing.

You can always count on Seth Rogen's Twitter as a source of hilarity, but today it was at an all-time high when the actor shared a news item that was straight out of Superbad.

Police said the 20-year-old pulled out his wallet and as he searched through it, officers could see the fake Hawaii ID card with the name “McLovin” and a birthdate of June 3, 1981. https://t.co/qPhzSMsKVN

Someone was actually bold enough to buy a replica of the "McLovin" ID that belonged to the Superbad character Fogell and walk into a bar.

Twenty-year-old Daniel Burleson was arrested by Iowa City police on charges of possession of a fictitious driver's license/ID, public intoxication, being in a bar while underage, and possession of alcohol under the legal age, according to the Iowa City Press-Citizen.

When the police approached him, as he was holding a drink, he allegedly admitted he was sipping on vodka and "refused to provide his ID." After he was reportedly taken outside of the bar, he shared his real ID and it wasn't until cops searched his wallet that they allegedly found "[his] fake Hawaii ID with the name 'McLovin' DOB 06/03/1981."

Incredibly, the police — who, apparently, are not intimately familiar with the plot of Superbad — "ran a search of his fake ID, which failed to turn up a result."

At some point, the 20-year-old allegedly shared with the police that he bought the ID on Amazon, where anyone can purchase one for $6.97.

He looks so happy in his mugshot??

Naturally, Seth Rogen had the perfect response to this.
