Response to Has Anyone Ever Catfished You?:
I once had a friend who created a fake profile of a guy and convinced me to date him. I found out he wasn’t real as I was looking at who they were following on tumblr one day and discovered the tumblr of the actual guy, who’s pictures she was using. It was full of videos of this guy saying his name and was a completely different person than my friend said. They then made other profiles of this “guy“‘s friends and exes and would send me messages telling me to kill myself with these profiles. When confronted about it by our other friends, they would deny it all then cut the friend out that accused them of cat fishing people. Then they ended our friendship over some petty fights. I will always regret not standing up to them and allowing them to have the last word. No one should control your happiness but you. It taught me how to stand up for myself, and if you ever suspect that a friend is doing something to hurt you, you’re probably correct and have every right to cut them out of your life.
Response to How Did You Find Out Santa Isn’t Real?:
When I was 7, I used to be afraid to sleep with my door closed. My room was right down the hall from my parents, and being young, I went to bed before them on Christmas eve. They tucked me into bed and shut my door, and being too afraid, I got up and opened it then went back to bed. My parents didn’t realize I opened my door, and so I watched in horror as one by one, my parents carried all of my presents from Santa to the tree. It didn’t help either that my dad was shoveling the cookies I left out for Santa into his mouth as he carried the presents.
