You recently met a guy in the most peculiar way such as online or in a party. He is very eager to learn all about you, perhaps too eager. Worried he is up to no good? Here I have 9 basic characteristic traits of a possible traffickers, pimps, or possibly just a jerk from Shared Hope (an anti-human trafficking organization). The list provided below is just to be taken into consideration when something does not seem right with a guy you just met. These warning signs are typically shown on men trying to lure young girls in first world countries like the Unites States. Often as a developed and advanced country we tend to divert any main issue such as poverty, abuse, and human trafficking among others to developing countries. When in reality in the United States these same issues are very prominent as well. American young girls have nearly the same exposure to the grasp of the notorious men and women that encaptivate them as any other girl in other countries. Human traffickers are everywhere just have to look closely and be careful!

1.He is very jealous and does not like you doing anything without him knowing. Perhaps he can even get a little aggressive and violent. He does not like you even talking to your friends and does everything he can to isolate you from them.

2.You notice he is much older than you but still shows great interest in you.

3.Promises you everything you have ever wanted. Some far-fetched but he still assures you he can make them come true.

4.Buys you expensive gifts. One gift every now and then is fine, but when it is too frequent there has to be a motive for that.

5.He constantly avoids talking about himself, instead defers the questions to you. He may answer a few question but vaguely never in detail.

6.Although, you just met him he often insinuates or talks about being sexually active.

7.When engaged in sexual activities he has very odd request. Some even degrading for you as a women others a bit violent each time.

8.He often talks about his finances. Perhaps mention the consequences of all the gifts and places he has taken you. He starts to suggest things you could do to help him.
