Advice can be great, and there are plenty of people ready to offer it — unsolicited or otherwise. But some advice is just from an entirely different time in life.
1."In fifth grade, we were told teachers in middle school and high school won’t even look at your work if it’s not in cursive."

10."I remember my teachers telling me, 'Don't study these new trendy subjects at university like media, video editing, tech, etc. You should focus on traditional subjects like literature, history,' and so on."
11."Stay loyal to the company you work for; your loyalty will help you get better pay/title/benefits."
12."Blood is thicker than water, which is outdated because the toxic version was used a lot to justify supporting toxic family members."
13."Don't bother learning to type. You'll only end up being a secretary!"
