a reviewer photo of the slim outlet cover with a piece of furniture up against the wall

Promising review: "This product is awesome! We bought one in the office to stop a nearby chair from continuously hitting the outlet plugs. It solved the problem right away. So we ordered three more to use anywhere there is bulk on the wall. It saves space, makes arranging furniture and desks easy, it's clean looking. Someone is a genius. Thanks so much!" —Jay

    2. A set of six pantry organizers for keeping snacks on hand, keeping your fridge looking crisp, and also preventing spills or drips from making a mess. Cool.

Promising review: "These are so helpful if your fridge is cluttered. I bought these for my mom who is an extremely cluttered person. I love her to death, but she is not an organized person. Her fridge used to look wild. There would be food piled on top of food, and small jars and containers EVERYWHERE. I bought her these to help her organize everything. Now she can see what she has and everything has a place. Thank you for making something like this to help those that are so cluttered." —MioRioZio

    3. A versatile bag clip to treat your Gucci dupe with the love and respect it deserves — it's hard work looking that pretty!

Promising review: "I have a very heavy, large purse that is a bottomless pit. One time I put my purse on the back of my chair at a cafe and the whole chair flipped over, that is how heavy my bag is. I was looking for something so I could hook my purse on things so it wasn’t sitting on the floor and was more accessible. I love this little gadget. I have used it on everything from bathroom stalls to tables to grocery carts. This thing really grips. All of my girlfriends love it and have gotten it for themselves." —Jennifer

Promising review: "I have Parkinson's and find it difficult to handle a water glass while taking my daily pills. This little water fountain is perfect for me! It was shipped quickly and was super easy to install with no tools. The knob is easy to slide in and out to change from faucet to fountain. The water comes up high enough that I do not have to bend too far over to drink from it. It is not in the way when I wash my hands. I really am glad that I spotted this gadget." —Texas Grandma

    5. A window-installed pet door so your pet can easily get in and out of the house, even if you have a rental. No more destroying doors to make tinier doors!

cat sitting on windowsill in front of the door
cat in an outdoor enclosure connected to the house through the window door

Promising review: "I love this! We didn’t have a good place to make a hole in the wall to our backyard but we do have low windows next to our fireplace, so it was a match to get this window door. It was super easy to install and we love the locking feature. We got a snow storm and it took a while for our garden beds to stop being muddy. We locked the door so kitty wouldn’t bring in mud. I will say it is a bit drafty, so we got an extra weather strip to secure the draftiness. Our kitty only took a couple of days to get used to it too. We put his food just outside the window and he had to get used to going out there to get his food. All in all it was a great buy!" —AlyHowell

Porch steps covered in bright glowing green tape
    Amazon

Promising review: "I bought this tape hoping I could use it to label switches on a guitar effects pedalboard (above, right) so I could identify them on a dark stage while playing. It works perfectly! It was easy to trim the length and width neatly, thanks to the lines marked on the reverse backing. Sharpie ink goes on easily, with no smearing, and it's high contrast and easy to read in both light and dark environments.

When I tested 'supercharging' the tape with a bright pocket flashlight just before playing, the glow was a really bright green and it was incredibly easy to read the labeling – even in total darkness. I am really impressed with this tape. It performed much better than I had hoped for. I am going to give strips to my friends so they can label their boards as well." —Shopper

Promising review: "Sometimes I have to call in sick to my job because the cat won't let me change out of the roo. It's not forbidden to wear a roo to work but it might make people not take me very seriously so I only go to work on the days the cat says I can. Seriously, this is the dorkiest thing ever and I look really stupid in it but I love it for real." —Just Me

Promising review: "This is the most fantastic umbrella ever! I'm very glad I bought it. It's very durable, even in high winds. It slides open very smoothly and doesn't catch when I'm taking it down. The carrying case is very helpful and allows you to have your hands free when not in use. It can cycle through all of the colors constantly, or it can stay on just one. It has the options of red, green, blue, purple and white. There's also an LED flashlight on the bottom of the handle. It takes three AAA batteries and they seem to last quite a while. The lights are bright enough to see even during the day time. I was very surprised and pleased at the quality and durability. A great buy." —SM

"This umbrella was purchased for our daughter, and she really loves it. Pros: you can see through it; you can easily walk along crowded sidewalks without dumping rain water on other pedestrians; it opens and closes easily; it’s lightweight; and you’re less likely to walk in front of a passing car when crossing the road on a rainy day. Cons: It’s worthless as a sun shade." —John Wilcox

Reviewer boarding on a lake with a clear wave formed from the back of the boat
Reviewer's before and after showing the difference in the waves with and without the tool

Promising review: "Wow, just wow. Surfing with this has made a huge difference!!! I use this on my 2014 Moomba Mobius LSV. I now fill both the rear bags even to 900 lbs. each on both sides and this thing throws a clean long wave to whichever side its not mounted to. I don't have to list the boat anymore, making it much easier to drive and so much faster to switch riders from different sides. It looks the exact same as the picture shows, and it floats. I've never had it fall off during surfing and even forgot to remove it once and came up to speed 20+ mph before I realized it was still on and it never came loose. It floats so if you accidentally drop it while mounting it you don't have to worry about it sinking to the bottom of the lake. I wish I had bought long ago!" —Joel

reviewer's video showing them opening the drawer with a magnetic key

The set comes with 12 locks (with strong 3M double-sided tape on the back) and two keys.

Promising review: "These are awesome! I spent hours with a drill and screwdriver installing push down locks on cupboards five years ago. I now have another crawling baby, and those ones are all broken. I was dreading installing new ones and saw these. They literally go on in seconds, the bracket means it lines up perfectly, and the adhesive is strong! My older kids think the magnet key is super fun. Baby stays out of the chemicals, and I put one on the trash door, so the dog stays out of the trash so everyone gets to live longer. Win-win. I also love that you can 'turn' them off and on, so when my kids are bigger, we can flip the switch, but if little kids were visiting, we could put them back on."Joseph J. Krakker

No more duplicate spices going bad in the back of the cabinet! It’s not at all difficult to assemble. Watch the assembly videos (they’re short) before you start opening the parts bags. Otherwise it’s easy to get intimidated by all of the extra pieces." —Congaree

Reviewer's husky looking onto front lawn from the dog window in the backyard
Two dogs sticking their heads into the round window to peek through the fence

This includes everything you need to secure the window and it takes about 15 minutes to set up. All you'll need is a drill/driver, crescent wrench, and a pencil.

Promising review: "Our dogs love it! Our old fence had gaps for them to see who was I the driveway, but with the new one, no gaps. The doggie windows allow them to see who is pulling up again! Each one took about 10–15 minutes to install. We just used the black ring to trace the inner circle, cut with a jigsaw, marked the holes for the bolts and pre-drill, and used a 10-mm wrench to tighten, not too tight to crack ring or globe plastic. Now they can see us again!" —Summers

    28. A set of fiberglass chopsticks that are dishwasher safe and made with a no-slip design, so you can eat noodles without tasty bites slipping and sliding before they make it into your mouth.

Glass noodles held up with chop sticks
    Amazon

These also work great with hot foods, i.e. they won't get too hot when hanging out in a steaming bowl of broth.

Promising review: "This is a quality set of chopsticks! The fiberglass is heavier than standard wood ones (obviously), but they are still easy to use. They don't feel that heavy in the hand. The tips are textured slightly for a better grip on food; this is really great with noodles. The top has a pretty design. I haven't had them very long, but they seem durable and relatively scratch resistant. They clean easily with soap and warm water (they're also dishwasher-friendly). I was looking for an affordable, re-useable set and originally considering stainless steel ones. But based on a number of reviews stating that the material on some wasn't true stainless steel, or they're too heavy, or they get too hot if left in a bowl, I ultimately went with this set. I'm very glad I did!" —nhcabin

    29. teaching alarm clock to help your children know when they're allowed to leave their room, giving you slightly more shut-eye in the a.m. Update the settings to your family's schedule and this lil' helper will light up when the kids are allowed to get up and out of bed.

    alarm clocks that say
    Amazon

One of my BuzzFeed coworkers wrote a review about how this clock is basically like giving the gift of sleep to parents with young children.

Promising review: "We've had this clock for four years and it's still going strong. You can adjust the amount of time the green light stays on. You MUST wait until the green light comes on to enter the room or it won't work! If your child comes out before it's on, take them back to bed and walk out. We get them used to it (now with child #3, 9 months old) by telling them before closing the door at night 'Wait for your green alien to wake up!' It's a good last minute reminder. The only thing I'd change is that the dimmest light setting is still a bit bright for my light sleepers, so I have to lay a burp rag or something over the back to make it dimmer. I'm considering buying a second so the older kids can have theirs back!" —Lauren

Promising review: "This hanging screen door is amazing. We wanted to keep flies out, but allow the dog to go in and out so we don't have to get up and open the door for him each time. So it functions as a screen and doggie door. Plus it is easy to go through if you are carrying a tray in your hands. It just gently sweeps aside and clicks back into place because of the magnets." —southwest lady

Promising review: "I'm multi-racial with tan skin. I burn when it's intense, but I get a great tan otherwise. My 9-month-old is fair, fair, fair. Blue eyes and porcelain skin fair. I reapply my own SPF 50 after a few hours, but I'm not consistent. I've never been great about sunscreen, but I was not going to let my daughter get burned. We live in South Florida and just a walk or park time is a potential burning hazard. This is a great visual for me to reapply her sunscreen or make sure she gets in the shade. They're an absolute essential for parents, especially the 'sun goddess' type." —FlightLife

Promising review: "All five of my fur babies love this little guy. They took to it immediately, no hesitation at all. Even though they have never had a fountain to drink from before. The pump is whisper quiet and provides a nice flow over the little flower. The filter needed to be rinsed out after a week, but like I said I have five cats, so cat hair is pretty much a season in my house." —The Redhead

    39. And finally, a serial killer coloring book — a way to destress in this true-crime-loving world, even though it's sure to look ~sketchy~ to anyone who doesn't share your...interests.

Reviewer's coloring page of Jeffrey Dahmer

I own this coloring book and I have to hesitantly say, it's a lot of...fun? For those who enjoy true crime there's really no better activity for ya! The pages are filled with objects and images connected to each killer. I like to color in a page while listening to a story each person. I do.
