Promising review: "I absolutely LOVE these lashes!!! I used to get professional eyelash extensions but due to my work environment in a kitchen/ restaurant they were difficult to maintain so I started experimenting with lashes at home. I have tried all the other top lash cluster brands and Lilac street is #1!!! So easy to apply, remove band is is so nice and thin, flexible length and curl — perfect. Look like extensions!!!! Literally take five minutes to apply and last sooo good!!!!! Please try these! I use Volume 12 so lightweight and comfortable!!!!!" —Jennifer M.

Promising review: "It all started in November of 2022, on a trip to NYC, when I lost my Summer Fridays lip balm to the M line subway floor (RIP Vanilla Beige). As I was set to start school soon and simultaneously step away from my job, the funds were looking rough, and I couldn’t justify repurchasing a $24 lip balm. After a nearly year-long period of mourning, I was ready to consider an alternative option, and stumbled upon this gem. Let’s just say I’m a big fan; similar feel on the lips, nice vanilla flavor, and less than half the price (depending on where you purchase it). Definitely recommend trying it out if you need a good lip balm. I will be purchasing some of the tinted options, too." —Ciara

    3. A L'Oreal *eight-second* lamellar water rinse-out treatment reviewers swear by for next-level shine, softness, and just all-around "is THIS my hair?!"–ness — without doing an expensive in-salon treatment.

A reviewer with defined coily hair
Reviewer with shiny long, straight hair

Shine in a silicone-free product?! Dreams really do come true. Reviewers with everything from stick straight to 4C curls love this product.

Promising review: "I don’t usually do reviews on products, but for this one I absolutely have to. I have 3c type hair and struggle with a lot a breakage, unmanageability, and moisture. When my mom mentioned this product to me I didn’t take her seriously because of the simple fact that we have two completely different hair textures. I never would of thought this brand would work on my hair. I have always used ethnic hair products and stayed away from brands such as this one because of the alcohol consumption. I have never in my 22 years felt my hair like this. I feel like I have a completely different head of hair. This product is so amazing and I will FOREVER be using this product in my hair regimen. Thank you so much!! ♥️" —Theressa Hailey

    4. BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord says, "I'm a Glossier Cloud Paint stan so I'll continue to buy it, but I love this affordable alternative, too! It spreads on super easily and can either go on sheer or build for a bolder effect. I got the Rose Flush shade and enjoy it for ~everyday wear~ since it's so easy to squirt a bit on my fingers, swirl it into my cheeks, and be on my merry way. It lasts all day and looks super natural to boot!"

Promising review: "Throw all your other blushes away. This one is creamy, not greasy, takes just a dab and lasts all day. What more could you want? The only thing that would make it better is if it were free or they sold in like beer in the six-pack. Knowing makeup companies like I do I will order several more because they will soon discontinue the BEST blush ever made regardless of how well it sells. Am I not right? Clinique had an excellent crème blush similar to this one for YEARS and then one day....POOF!! GONE!!! So try it and then buy some extras 'cause you know tomorrow it'll be gone." —Velma Martin

    5. Cosrx’s snail mucin repairing essence that may seem like it would give you the ick, but is totally worth adding to your routine. I loooove this essence for whenever I need an added boost of hydration. It absorbs into the skin beautifully!

Promising review: "This product is everything everyone says it is and more. If I could recommend one product that is the key to glass skin, it would be this. It gives an immediate glow, and makes the skin look so supple and healthy. The texture wasn't off-puting for me, but it is a bit slimy and stringy when you first pump out the product. It absorbs pretty quickly and doesn't leave a sticky residue, and it is unscented. Can't say enough good things about this product and the brand. You need this product in your life!" —Sarah Deeb

    6. Hyalu-CICA Water-fit Sun Serum, a lightweight SPF 50s+ PA+++ sunscreen from Skin1004 (the K-beauty brand behind the cult-fave Zombie masks) that feels like a high-end skincare product instead of an SPF. This formula has a moisturizer-like texture, contains powerhouse skincare ingredients like cica, niacinamide, and hyaluronic acid, feels breathable on the skin, leaves a dewy finish, and (reviewers agree!) it doesn't have a white cast, so applying it will feel like less of a chore.

    It's also reef-safe.

Promising review: "This is the absolute best sunscreen I have ever used in my life, and that comes after many years of testing different kinds from both the US and other countries. I have very sensitive skin and also recently found out I have rosacea. I have figured out that the combination of chemical sunscreens in this formula is the least irritating to me. On top of that, there are additional ingredients like niacinamide, birch bark, centella and green tea that are all soothing for my skin. I normally get a “tight” feeling while wearing sunscreen, or an increasing irritation, or even slow burning. I don’t get any of that with this sunscreen, and I can even wear it on my eyelids without irritation. This is also unscented and comes in a pump design. It’s a very flat tube that fits easily in my purse for reapplication. I’ve already increased my sunscreen usage dramatically because I know I’m not going to be irritated, and the tube travels easily. 1,000% recommend this for sensitive or oily skin, or people who are having issues with rosacea who want to try chemical sunscreens." —JessGrrl7

Promising review: "I have oily, acne-prone, semi-sensitive skin and this product is my favorite skincare product EVER. EVER!! It doesn't leave a white cast, it makes my skin feel so soft, it does not make me look greasy, and it doesn't mess up my makeup!! Honestly it feels so good I'm tempted to use it in my nighttime skincare routine too." —Melissa Dixon

    7. A bottle of Elizavecca Hair Treatment  for an intense at-home mask that'll help your strands look and feel less damaged in just five minutes. It's basically a time machine for your hair is what I'm saying. Some reviewers say it's even BETTER than Olaplex, which is over three times the price!

Reviewer with curly hair holding a strand of it out
Reviewer with straight blow dried hair

Reviewers with everything from thin, fine hair to 4c curls have reported positive results from this moisturizing formula, which is particularly recommended for folks whose hair is damaged from using hot tools, bleach, and the like. And btw, This is the same brand that makes the Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask so many people swear by (and it looks damn cool).

Promising review: "Like many others, I tried this as a replacement for Olaplex. Honestly, Olaplex never had a great effect on my hair and certainly wasn’t worth the price. This did an unreal job on my hair!! I was skeptical (tried a little bit first because I was petrified it would burn off my hair and I would end up bald!) but, lo and behold, it was magic! My hair is so strong, silky, and healthy looking after just one use. Plus you can’t beat the price! Have already ordered another box. I should also add I have curly/wavy hair that’s been colored to a light brown. Buy it!!" —BB

Promising review: "I have 4c hair and was looking for a protein treatment for my thin and fragile. I had recently used a product in my hair that had so much alcohol in it; that wreaked havoc on my hair, leaving it pretty damaged. I was very skeptical about this product because I have never seen anyone with my hair type use it. Boy was I wrong to doubt this product, it left my hair looking and feeling beautiful. I highly recommend it to anyone natural or with curly hair." —Therese-Claire

Promising review: "This stuff is MAGIC. During the summer months when it's 100 degrees, my eyeshadow and eyeliner would be melted into my eyelid creases halfway thru the day and I was having to constantly fix it. This primer will keep your makeup looking fresh for 24 hours. No eyelid creases ALL day and into the night. Even fell asleep with my makeup on and it was the same in the morning! This has become a permanent staple in my makeup bag." —Katie

Promising review: "I have tried so many concealers & they all end up caking up and settling in the lines under my eyes 😭😭😭. I recently decided I would try this because of all the makeup tutorials I watch and OMG!!!!! I use this under my eyes to cover up my dark circles. The coverage is fantastic, it goes on so smooth and I really like the applicator! This is such an amazing makeup product it's hard to believe it's so inexpensive. I'm super happy I tried this concealer...... I am in no way a makeup artist, just a makeup lover but this concealer delivers exactly what all the professional makeup artists claim it delivers. This is definitely my new go to under eye concealer!!!!" —RobinX

    10. An exfoliating mitten so you can scrub off dead skin cells and reveal softer, smoother skin during your Everything Showers for just-came-from-the-spa results. Just lather up and (gently!) massage your skin — reviewers say this is great for preventing ingrown hairs, helping reduce KP, and using before applying fake tan!

Several reviewers say they just throw theirs right in the washing machine to clean it! They also make a smaller one designed for the bikini area and a long, narrow back scrubber for hard-to-reach areas.

Promising review: "I'll be honest; I thought this would be another thing I saw on Amazon via TikTok that was way overhyped. I have dry skin, and despite using lotions, oils, and gentle body washes, I'm an ashy mess. This thing is incredible. I don't think I've ever been this exfoliated in my life! Not a single flake or scaly patch in sight. 1,000/10." —Ruth Bromberg

    11. Skin-lifting, pore-tightening Skin1004 face masks with results that reviewers swear by — not to mention the fact that using them is weirdly fun? The mask tightens as it dries on your face, giving you the titular "zombie" effect (just like...or better than...the more expensive Hanacure).

Just wait 15 minutes and rinse to reveal your glowiest glow yet, thanks to the albumin (aka egg white) and aloe formula.

Promising review: "I was gifted the Hanacure masks and loved them but they're just way too pricey. I heard SO many wonderful things about the skin 1004 zombie mask and at about $2.50 a pop, why not?! Let me tell you, this mask is just straight up magic. I didn't notice any changes to my skin immediately but a few hours later when I looked in the mirror I was shocked at how wonderful my skin looked. I've never noticed a difference like this. Hanacure who?!?? don't get me wrong, the Hanacure mask is amazing and magical too but it's expensive and impossible to maintain the twice weekly mask schedule recommended. This Zombie mask is every bit as magical with better results in my opinion. And it's super funny.  A lot of the reviews mention a bad smell which I was worried about but I didn't notice a smell and I'm so sensitive to smell I can't used scented lotions, lip balms etc. Bottom line, this is better than Hanacure both price and results wise."Dana Dane

Promising review: "I used this with my Olay Regenerist Cream (it helps with my wrinkles) I mixed it and it does a great deal of shine! You should buy if you're looking for a Drunk Elephant Bronzi Drops substitute! Way better than drunk elephant." —raegan kuball

Promising review: "I actually like this glowy lotion better than the drunk Elephant one, and I have both. This goes on smoothly and not greasy. It leaves you very glowy with a beautiful tan, and works well with makeup on top if you so wish. Lasting power too. Recommend." —ggvega

Promising review: "Better than the expensive K18 and Olaplex. I recently spent $70 on a hair mask; because my hair has been in need of some love. I won’t name it because I don’t think I can but I thought it’s 70 bucks so it must be good. It was NOT. I didn’t hate it but it didn’t do much for me. So I thought screw it let me try something more natural and drugstore. I saw the good reviews on this so I thought, “why not?” And now I have my new favorite hair mask. So moisturizing. Makes my hair so soft. It’s VERY thick. But that’s what I wanted. If you’re looking for deep Hydration, look no further." —Kirstin

Promising review: "I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to because I love this conditioner so much. I have EXTREMELY dry 4c hair. It's very picky with products. After getting to know my hair, I noticed that my hair only like products that get absorbed into the hair right away. If it leaves a coating over it, then my hair is not going to like it. It might even feel super soft for a day, but then it get extremely dry after. Even though this product is super thick (so thick that the cream stays in the jar when you flip it upside down), my hair absorbs everything and it stays super moisturized for 2–3 days after. I used this on my hair about two days ago. Today, I touched my hair expecting it to feel dry like always, but it felt like I just moisturized it. MIND BLOWN. It also smells AMAZING. It smells more like a fruity, sweet, and creamy perfume fragrance rather than a hair conditioner. It almost reminds me of Mon Guerlain. Literally the nicest smelling hair product I've ever used. 10/10" —Khady Ndiaye

    14. My all-time desert island holy grail, CeraVe's Skin Renewing night cream, which delivers on hydration and softness and protects your skin's natural barrier — I won't use an expensive night cream again. There's a reason people can't stop talking about CeraVe on TikTok!

Promising review: "I’ve been using the same cream for over seven years. Every other cream would break me out, not moisturize my skin enough, or just make me too oily. I got this because I’ve been breaking out and I’ve been trying to find something to calm my skin down. The first night I used this my skin improved!! Redness/bumps reduced, my skin was soft. I have very sensitive, oily, acne prone skin and this did not irritate my face at all. I wake up and my skin is soooo soft. My skin texture has drastically changed in just a week. My makeup applies so smooth and my pores even look better. My new go-to!" —Melody

Promising review: "Has completely transformed my skin. I used to get hormonal acne every single month, I still get it now but far less often and severely. Differin has really made a big difference on my quality of life. I have sensitive skin, so I only use it a couple of times a week and always over a light layer of lotion. When I first started using it, my acne did get worse for about a month, and then magically one day, my skin looked amazing. It's worth a try for sure!" —Britt

Promising review: "I have literally [had] acne since I was in fourth grade. Often I'd get really deep painful cystic acne which left terrible scars, but other times, I'd get tons of smaller pimples that left their mark long after the pimple was gone. It was nonstop, and I tried nearly everything. I’ve had one blemish appear in the five months since I started Differin, and amazingly, it was gone in a day, and didn’t leave a scar!! FYI, I have sensitive, combination skin that likes to alternate between being brittle dry and baby oil slick." —Angelique

This product is awesome. I’ve had it on my brows for a nine-hour shift and they are still in place! It doesn’t dry and get flakey, nor does it feel uncomfortable on the skin. 21. A set of sponge rollers for adding (heat-free!) curls and volume to your hair. Wanting to try some of those vintage hair sets you've seen on TikTok? These are a great way to start.

A reviewer with the curlers in their hair
The same reviewer with the finished look, with shiny vintagey brushed-out curls

I have these foam rollers and they're really great! The clips stay in my hair, even while sleeping (not the most comfortable way to sleep, but here we are), and the results lasted for days! If you're new to rollers, I recommend rolling in sections right down your center part (as the reviewer does above), and then curling the sides by section — just make sure you're rolling underneath the hair. And the curls will be tighter than you want when you take them out! Just finger detangle or brush through to achieve that softer, vintage-inspired look.

Promising review: "I've always had bad experiences with foam rollers in the past. I don't know what makes these ones different, but they stay in your hair, don't take long to dry, and give you long-lasting curls! I'm in love with them. I use about 12 at a time to curl my hair, spray a setting lotion, and either let them stay in overnight while I sleep or I sit under my hooded dryer for 10 minutes." —Katrina Holte

    22. Or a heatless curling rod headband you can wrap your hair around when you go to sleep at night to wake up with a bouncy blowout (without the actual price of a professional blowout) — it can also help extend the life of your blowout too!

Reviewer with long hair in wide curls
Contents of the set in a cheetah print laid out

Each set comes with a curling rod, two hair scrunchies, a claw hair clip, and two duckbill hair clips to set it in place. These are designed to work with all hair types, but work best if you roll them with damp hair!

Promising review: "Before purchasing, I’d seen a lot of reviews and tutorials on TikTok showing the results. My hair is thick, coarse, and naturally wavy, so I figured this might be a good alternative to rollers that are time-consuming to put in, difficult to sleep in, and ultimately not worth it. And MAN was I right to be hopeful. Wrap pieces of damp hair around it before bed, the tighter the wrap, the tighter the curl. Easy to sleep in since there’s nothing on the back of your head, and my curls are BOUNCY the next morning. My only complaint is that it doesn’t help give any top-volume, but that's nothing some teasing can’t fix. 10/10. I’ll never go back to a curling iron." —Mariah

Promising review: "BEST PURCHASE I'VE MADE THIS YEAR! I was just going to take my mascara off with it and I ended up rubbing it all over my face lol! It’s like all the Tiktok reviews etc say…perfect makeup remover. Buy this now and you will throw away what you’ve been using. My face feels so clean." —Michele

Promising review: "I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!! I found it on TikTok and OMG!! It works so well. I don't have to sit there and rub the crap out of my eyelashes to get the waterproof mascara off. I will admit, it doesn't take 100% of the makeup off but about 95% of my makeup comes off. It is not water-resistant, as emulsifying it with water helps take the makeup off. I have not found a better makeup remover, and yes, that includes micellar water (which also works well but leaves my skin feeling oily). With this cleansing balm, my face feels hydrated and smooth. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!!!!! 1,000/10 would recommend!!!" —Deetje Frederick

I have two shades and have already ordered a third!

Promising review: "The lip oil trend has fully saturated my TikTok feed. So I was anxious to test and compare. I also own the Dior Lip Oil and tbh NYX is giving them a run for their money. This lip oil does its job for a fraction of the price. The formula isn't as thick as the Dior product but, the color options and leak proof packing make up for it. I'd definitely recommend picking this up to try!" —Courtney Calestiini

This is my go-to satin pillowcase. I have two Slip pillowcases, and several of these, and actually the Bedsure ones wash up much nicer and retain an incredibly silky smooth feel after dozens of trips through the laundry. They're the only ones I'll buy going forward, and I recommended them to my mom and now she's in love with them too!

Promising review: "I ordered these pillowcases just to see if they could compete with Blissy. Well, they can. I have washed them three times and they came out great. They seem to protect your hair and skin. So, I’m very happy with them." —EMc

Promising review: "This pillowcase has been an absolute game-changer! It feels incredibly luxurious, and the impact on my hair and skin has been remarkable. Since I've started using these satin pillowcases, I've noticed significantly less hair breakage and fewer tangles. My hair feels smoother and healthier than ever before. But the real magic happens with my skin. When I wake up, my face has no more sleep lines or creases. It's like I've discovered the fountain of youth! I can't believe the positive difference these pillowcases have made in my daily beauty routine. They're a small investment that yields big results. If you want to wake up feeling and looking refreshed, do yourself a favor and grab these satin pillowcases. you won't regret it!" —Ventus

If you haven't gotten into retinoids yet or are worried about irritating your skin, this gentle but effective serum is a great option — and reviewers say they like it better than other more expensive options (like Murad's Retinol Serum, which retails for $92).

And remember, like with any retinol (that actually works) *just do not use it every day.* Start slow and work yourself up if needed, paying attention to your skin.

Promising review: "I absolutely love this stuff! I saw a dermatologist on TikTok who raved about this product and tried it out, and it's been the most amazing stuff! It's helped my face to clear up very quickly removing all of the blemish spots and dark spots around my face. It's been one of the best products I've added to my face routine. This would be great for all ages/stages and for any weather types. It doesn't moisturize much, but that's not it's intention, and there is no scent, so I'd imagine it's great for all skin types and hypoallergenic." —Successful Solo

Promising review: "I bought this for my teenager to use for his acne scars, but he ended up not using it. I ran out of my Murad retinol serum, so I gave this a try. I actually like it better than the Murad! It absorbs quickly, with zero smell or irritation. As with any retinol product, be sure to wear sunscreen when you're going to be outside." —C. Munsterman

Promising review: "As many folks have said, have all the things you need (gloves, phone, showerhead, etc.) at hand when you apply this freaking miracle. I have heels like a busted can of biscuits, and I don't have much faith in any product. Any trip to the salon is basically worthless for my calluses. So I soaked my feet and dried them. Applied the gel and waited. Rinsed and started using my rasp. I have NEVER seen so much skin come off. And it just kept coming. I rinsed and put lotion on, then slept in thick socks. My feet are so soft! Game changer." —VR
