Our New Bakery In New Jersey: Serving You Better

Damascus Bakeries has invested into a brand new state of the art facility in Newark, New Jersey

Ever since the first pita breads came out of our grandfather’s orginal bakery in Brooklyn in 1930, we have put quality and flavor first.

Although it’s been over 80 years since then, we are not about to stop now.

We recently expanded into a new $20 million State of the Art Artisan Flat Bread baking facility and R&D center located in Newark, New Jersey. We’ve added environmental controls as well as additional proofing capabilities (for highly fermented dough) which will allow us to produce new and interesting varieties of proofed and flavorful flat breads and crusts.

Our new bakery will also allow us to continue to maintain the highest level of Food Safety Standards, and ensure that our products remain consistent.

We are, and continue to be, industry leaders. Extensive research and resources were put into efficient processes and automated procedures and were taken into account when building the new facility.

That said, we remain bakers at heart. Our core values are “hands on”.

We also continue to believe in “Artisan Quality”. We have brought the best tools in the business to the new bakery in New Jersey. This New Jersey bakery and expanded services it will provide, will allow us to reach many more customers without compromising taste or quality.

You are invited to visit our website at Damascus Bakeries and see the wide variety of flat breads that we produce, as well as the traditional and non-traditional flat bread flavors that we are famous for.

We welcome feedback and suggestions for new flavors and new varieties from our customers. We appreciate it when you contact us.
