Twitter has announced that it is overhauling its' 140-character limit rules.
CEO Jack Dorsey announced the change on Twitter on May 24, linking to Twitter's official blog.
Replies, images, videos, GIFs and links will no longer eat into the 140-character limit, and users are pretty happy about it.
Users will also be able to retweet themselves under the new rules. This change has been met with mixed opinions.
The changes are expected to roll out over the next few months. See the official announcement here.
