Your place of power is the city, somehow both new and ancient at the same time. Use industrial elements in your spells and harvest natural items from local parks. Give to the homeless and keep tickets to concerts or museums to write intentions on. Absorb energy from the life of your city.

AESTHETIC: “Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it burned in one.” You glide through the frenetic, neon glow of skyscrapers. You have sigils written in cinnamon on your lattes, and you take love potion shots before hitting the club. The city pulses in your veins. There’s no time for bullshit when you’re building an empire.

Urban Witch

You extract power from the cosmos. Find a meteorite and some type of sphere for your altar. Align your practice with the phases of the moon. You may have special skills in divination and astrology. Alchemy and dream interpretation may also be fields of interest.

AESTHETIC: the quiet of space is endless and dense. This is a place of golden spheres and prick-pointed stars. The angels float by, but they do not speak. You would not want them to, even if they would. You prefer to keep your eardrums intact.

Cosmic Witch

Your source of power is the desert. Use sand and cactus thorns in spells. Rituals that include heat or dehydration may align with your powers.

AESTHETIC: the sand moves, and it whispers of empires, of ruins, of gods long turned to dust. You curl your tongue, speaking in a language that was thought to be dead for thousands of years. You sleep the day and travel at night. You work a tincture made from honey and bran into the burn across your cheek bones and begin again through time and space.
