36 reasons for the big 18th birthday! Happy Birthday Emma and congrats on being an adult! Here is a list of a few reasons why you are so amazing and just a little walk down memory lane recapping some of the classic moments in our friendship. Sorry it gets kind of repetitive! My bizzel! Love you and hope 18 is the best year yet! **Full disclosure I didn't come up with all these on my own, some examples from the internet helped a bit. I'm sure you'll be able to tell. That doesn't mean they aren't all 300% true! The ones I made up are special ones such as "we ride the struggle bus." That was all me baby! 36. We can make fun of each other and never take offense

You'll always laugh at my inability to say the word milk and how I drive like a grandma 95% of the time and my tendency to wear the same outfit most all of the time. But it's cool, because I will always laugh at how you watch endless tutorial videos and the way you dangle your hands sometimes when playing volleyball and I'll stop at that cause it is yo birthday! Btw I love your asian friend in this photo. I'd love to meet her someday!

35. We do the stupidest things together

We can talk to each other in weird accents for hours, have spontaneous dance sessions, and do the most ridiculous things together, just because. And then we do things like we did in this video, I think we should question our sanity at times!

34. We can hang out for days on end and never get sick of each other

We could see each other every single day, and each day we still have as much fun as the last. We even have fun together at 5:30 in the morning! I think this is sign of a really solid friendship because there are a lot of people out there I could not handle seeing on the daily!

You know every embarrassing thing that's happened to me, and every deep dark thing about me. And I know all there is to know about you from every crush you've had to all the embarrassing things you've done. I never hesitate to tell you something, because I know you will take it to your grave. We would never tell each other's secrets, no matter what happens — our history runs way too deep.

We literally laugh at the worlds stupidest things and then years later we are still laughing at those same things! A prime example of this could be Shnorgafuz hip surgeries. I'd say that was one of our more intellectual conversations! We are very lucky we didn't have to get Shnorgafuz hip surgeries after doing stunts like this! I guess our hips just have plenty of lube.

All better! Emma, you never told me you had a father. Where are my clay bowls for these sundries tomatoes! Are you crazy, it's going to be jammed!!!!

30. You care about my family

I've had so many friends over the years that were mean to Sophie or didn't include her in anything we did. Although she annoys me and I don't always want her there, it means the world to me how much you really care about her. You are one of very few of my friends that she actually likes because you make her feel included. As my parents always say, you really are the third daughter of the family.

You have the funniest family and it is so great to know I have a home away from home! The way your family treats me like one of their own is something I've never had with any friend before and I love it! I always have so much fun having conversations with your dad and making up the weirdest stories with him! And your mom is the always so amazing and is so hilarious too! You just live in a house of comedians! And annoying Izz is one of my favorite activities! She's so great! Side note: funny how you say screw you DU and how I think we are talking about Chloe's christmas card in this video. So classic!

28. Sometimes all we need is eye contact to communicate

I just need to give you 'that look' and you'll know exactly what I'm thinking. This is especially useful when we're with a group of people and cannot openly express our opinion, you know like when a certain person you like walks by (or someone who we don't particularly like) we know what we are thinking without saying a word.

27. You seem to know what’s good for me more than I do

I'll usually ask you first what to do before taking action, because you've proven to me countless times that you know what's right of me. As someone who has a very hard time with decisions it is amazing to know you will always be there for me to help me through the many decisions I'll struggle to make in life (such as what to eat for dinner or who I should marry, you know the important things). I thought a photo of me struggling was appropriate here.

26. You believe that I deserve the best, and I believe that you deserve the best

We recognize each other's hard work, and know that we are worthy of what we want, be it careers, relationships, etc. Im so proud of all you've done and am so proud of your success in volleyball too! Cant wait to see you rock it at DU next year. Also I just wanted you to know you are an incredible person and I know you will do great things with your life. And you're all around the greatest person and I know you are destine for amazing things! You are funny, kind, and beautiful and I know you are going to go far in life. Ok so maybe I do have a sister, but I can honestly say I'm just as close with you, if not closer, than I am with Sophie. I love having another sister in my life and someone who I know will always be there. I know no matter what's happening in my life or whatever stupid decisions I may make in the future, you will stand by me and be there for me. It's not everyday you find a friend like that!

22. You is smart. You is kind. You is important.

Only the smartest people in the land would think to roast marshmallows on a candle! So clearly we are geniuses!! But really you are one of the smartest(when you don't have severe senioritis) most caring people I know. My life would suck without you and I'm so lucky to have you to do really amazing things like this with!

21. People question our sexuality because we spend the majority of our time together

So your parents probably think we are lesbian lovers, but thats ok many other people probably think that too! But really I will be lucky when I find someone who knows me as well as you do and who I can act as stupid with. Don't worry you will always be my first love! And like side note I look like such a meep here. I'm not sure what a meep is but i feel that is defiantly what I look like.

20. We hate all the same people — even people we've never met

There are those certain people in our lives that we both have a passionate dislike for and then there are the people we have never met but we both hate them because we trust each others opinion on who is amazing and who isn't.

19. Driving around blasting music with no destination is both of your favorite pastimes

The excitement of simply driving through the world blasting our jams is always a fun activity! This is from the night we drove around in the rain at 1:30 in the morning. So many great memories from simply driving around! You can't tell as much from this clip but Sophie was quite freaked out by water getting on the car. LOL water doesn't hurt cars!

18. You are there for me no matter what

Like literally through everything you have been there right by my side. When I broke my toe, you were there. When I fell in love with Very Mary Kate, you were there. You always seem to find a way to give me a mild heart attack weather it is risking your life or breaking the rules. Many of the things you do and try and get me to do scare the sh*t out of me, but without you there to make me take risks I never would have so many great memories. On a daily basis you do some very annoying things to me such spitting rice stick pellets at me or sending Pusheens to 50 of my closest friends on Facebook and Viber. Although these things may not be my favorite parts of the day, I do find them to be very very funny(but still terribly annoying) and I wouldn't want you to do things any other way. And I'm sorry for all the annoying things I do to you like attacking you with ninjas when you are trying to sleep or blasting my really bad music and making you listen to it. Oh and most of all thanks for dealing with my high pitch squeally loud voice all the time. I will try to use my inside voice more often!
