Some people see benefits from things like a weighted blanket or new soft sweatpants. Others want to book a massage or use a foam roller at home. Even just taking a hot bath or spending some extra time on your skincare routine can make you feel a little extra loved.

Physical Touch

The definition of "quality" varies for everyone, but take time to find what works for you! It may be as literal as meditation or deep breathing exercises. You might also find yourself just not booking your schedule as much to reclaim time back in your day.

Quality Time

Daily or even weekly affirmations isn't always very comfortable, but can have tremendous results on our emotions and behaviors. If you are more of a writer than a talker, consider starting a journal and making note each day of something you did well, or something that made you happy.

Too often we put things back on the shelf after walking around the whole store with it for 20 minutes because we realize we don't _need_ it. If your self love language is gifts, treat yourself to something every once in a while, regardless of what that inner penny-pinching voice says! Even traveling can satisfy this itch by investing in new and fun experiences that you'll remember forever.

Receiving Gifts

People who need acts of service to assist in self love should try things like cleaning or organizing your closet. Maybe even give meal prepping a try with some new healthy recipes. It can also be as simple as scheduling all of those appointments you've been putting off like your physical, the dentist, or even a haircut. You'll feel better when those boxes are checked.
