Moonwalkers premiered on March 14th at the SXSW Film Festival. And although the movie has flown under the radar, our favorite ginger has a leading role.
The plot of the movie revolves around the conspiracy of "What if Apollo 11 didn't actually make it to the moon?" And if it didn't, how did we fake it so well? Moonwalkers toys with the idea that the US government hired famed director Stanley Kubrick to pull off the con. Rupert Grint plays the manager of a rock band in swinging sixties London who gets drawn into the conspiracy. Ron Perlman and Robert Sheehan also star in the British comedy.
No word yet on when the movie will be distributed to theaters, but we'll keep waiting impatiently. Until then, here's a clip to tide us over.
