On May 9, 2017, People magazine announced something huge: Zooey Deschanel had given birth and named her son Charlie Wolf.
A once in a lifetime name! Charlie Wolf! How unique. How special. How darling.
Except it wasn't. Because two years later, on October 9, 2019, Lauren Conrad welcomed a son to the world. And it was revealed to be a boy named... CHARLIE WOLF!!!!!!!!!
YES, you heard that right folks. Zooey Deschanel and Lauren Conrad both named their sons Charlie Wolf.
And FINALLY Zooey Deschanel is opening up for the first time and addressing this whole Charlie Wolf thing.
When asked about LC naming her son Charlie Wolf two years after she did, Zooey responded:
“That was so weird, right? I don’t think she knew it,”
She continued on:
“We have a really good mutual friend, and she was like, ‘Did you know that Lauren Conrad…’ I said, ‘No, that’s so funny!’
And boy oh boy, then she added the kicker!
