“First the wolf’s bane,” Mary Kate said to Ashley.
“Next is the nightshade,” she added.
“Did we remember the pound of goblin toes?” Ashley inquired.
“You did put in the silver strand of hair, yes?” Mary Kate questioned.
“Did we forget to turn the cauldron off?” Ashley worried.
“It simmers for 16 hours, don’t you remember?” Mary Kate reminded Ashley.
“I hope it doesn’t over boil,” Ashley said to Mary Kate.
“It won’t, I put in extra baby’s breath to slow down the cooking time,” Mary Kate said.
“Did we make enough for all the children to fall under our spell?” Ashley wondered.
“This brew will be our best potion yet,” Mary Kate thought to herself.
“Oh no, I think I forgot the horn of toad,” Ashley worried.
“No, I put it in when you flew to the market for the eye of newt,” Mary Kate said.
“Come, we must go home to check on our brew.”
