Some believed it was deleted because it potentially violated the alliance she has with Taylor Swift, who is in a cold war with Katy Perry ("Bad Blood" anyone?).
But actually, in an interview, Ellie Goulding said it was none of that drama. It was just because she was a bit drunk and didn't look great:
"Ohh. No, I deleted that because I looked bad in it. And I think I was a bit drunk and it wasn't a good example of myself. That's so funny that that's even a thing. I delete things all the time."
And when pressed about it being because of the Katy/Taylor ~fued~, Ellie clarified that, no, it was seriously just because she didn't like the picture of herself.
"I'm very used to things being made up. That's riduculous. I'm great friends with Katy. I'm great friends with Taylor. That's very silly. No I just looked terrible in it. I zoomed in on my actual photo and went, 'noo'... I was a bit drunk I admit."
So there you have it. You can be friends with a lot of people. Also, welcome Ellie, to my saturday mornings when I realized I should have never uploaded that picture at 1:30 AM Friday night.
