    5 Reasons To Run

Get off BuzzFeed (just for a little while) & hit the pavement!

    05. Running improves your mood.

Maybe you aren't feeling your best today and didn't jump out of bed this morning with a smile on your face. Tie up your laces, get out there, and your mood will not only instantly improve, but you'll feel better all day!

    04. It's a great excuse to make shamelessly geeky playlists.

Pick a few of your favourites and turn the volume up! Nerd it up and sweat it out. [See: Tumblr Fandom Style, We Will Rock You, Cotton-Eyed Joe]

    03. Minimal equipment.

A common excuse for not working out is not having the right equipment. For running, however, all you really need is a pair of running shoes. A sports bra may be necessary as well - if you don't currently have the money for one, start out with a walk at a brisk pace until you can afford one!

Though, if you find that you really love it, you can always stock up on more equipment. Shorts, weights, specially-designed workout gear, several pairs of sneakers, even designated running socks! The possibilities are endless.

    02. You'll never get tired of it.

If you ever feel you're getting stuck into a rut, there are plenty of ways to switch things up with running. Go faster, slower, or do bursts of sprinting with walking in between. If it's too difficult or not difficult enough, simply change it. Change your pace. Make up a new route. Find a buddy. Go to a park. Run with your, or a friend's, pet. Running won't ever get boring if you keep working at it.

    01. THE HEALTH BENEFITS.

    Step 01. Tie sneaker laces.

Step 02. Put up hair if necessary.

Step 03. Walk out the door.

    Step 04. ?????

    Step 05. Profit.

There are so many health benefits that running gives you. You'll feel better both mentally and physically. Not only will you feel instantly better, but you'll be happier and healthier over time.
