Hip Hop is one of those things...you have to live it. It's poetry with a twist, it is real and it is unique. Slowly, as of late, some of Hip Hop has lost its soul. But luckily we have the memories of the best and still have old souls like The Roots, Common and Lupe Fiasco. Hip Hop was always a men's game, but women penetrated with brash and ferocious lyrics. They showed the big boys they can play too. This documentary shows us some of the greatest women in Hip Hop then and now, how they got there and stayed there.
