He'll be playing Charlie Price, who teams up with a drag queen named Lola to produce high-heeled boots and save the shoe factory he inherited from his father.

Kinky Boots has been running on Broadway since 2013, when it won six Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Since the original cast departed, the show has seen some high-profile replacements: Wayne Brady and Todrick Hall have both enjoyed stints as Lola.

Panic! At the Disco has also been going strong since their breakthrough 2005 album A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, which featured that once omnipresent earworm, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies."

Their most recent album, Death of a Bachelor, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. At one point they ditched the exclamation point — but presumably brought it back in anticipation of this exclamation point–worthy news.
