The Neverending Love-Hate Relationship Between Cats And Insects

They say cats aren't as "useful" to humans as dogs, because they are much less likely to submit to commands or take interest in human problems. Dogs for instance are used not only as police force (sadly), eyes for blind people, but their newly found purpose as "pest control experts" whose job is to sniff every last bed bug infesting your home. Now this is where we get to talk about cats. Cats are excellent pest control specialists. They will stare at each annoying fly until they fly within their reach, making weird-sounding noises meanwhile. They will make a toy out of each cockroach. Occasionally they might befriend them. Cat owners, enthusiasts and worshipers around the globe might recognize some of these cat vs. bug scenarios.
