As you can imagine, winning the lottery is a life-changing event that anyone would probably call a ~dream come true~.
BUT I'm curious to hear the other side. So, if you've won the lottery, have you actually regretted it?
Like, maybe winning big was SUPER exciting at first — but then you had to cut off toxic relationships with family and friends who wanted to use you for your money.
Perhaps you lived it up and bought some prized possessions you've always wanted — but you ended up losing all the money and wish the whole thing never happened.
Or maybe you didn't know what to do with the new wealth and felt pressure to live a completely different lifestyle — and it actually had a negative impact on your mental health.
Have you — or someone you know — won the lottery and regretted it? Tell us about it in the comments below. Or if you prefer to remain anonymous, submit your story through this Google form. The best responses will be featured in an upcoming BuzzFeed Community post!
