You'll get an upper-year mentor from the School of Accounting and Finance to give you extra guidance with so many different things: your resume and cover letter, tips for networking and interviews, and insight into what a day on the job was like for them.

2. Extra support during stressful times

Balancing a full course load and searching for your first co-op job simultaneously can be challenging at times. Not to mention what happens when procrastination sets in. A Peer Leader can give you tips and tricks to balance your time and energy because they've been through it all before! They can also help get your head out of your books and connect you to great events happening on campus!

Let's face it, less time walking to class means more time for studying…or checking Facebook. Not to mention not having to worry about subletting your place for the winter term! You won't have to think about utilities and other extra bills either!

Thinking about grad school? You'll need some solid reference letters from faculty and staff in your program. Having trouble in a course? You'll want to feel comfortable approaching your professors at their office hours. We can help you network confidently with faculty and staff to support you in your academics and beyond.
