Only A Sitcom Genius Will Know If Schmidt, Schrute, Or Sheldon Said This Line

Let's face it, all three of them feel as though they do more than everyone else. None is particularly thoughtful, but Schmidt was the one to say this particular quote.

"Do you just walk around all day thinking about other people's feelings? How do you get anything done?"

Okay, so I threw you a freebie. This is one of the most well-known Dwight quotes out there, but if you didn’t know that for sure, it could be by any of the three, right? Buckle up, because they get harder from here...

Dwight (Schrute)

"There’s too many people on this earth. We need a new plague."

Obviously all three can be a bit pretentious when it comes to their jobs vs. others' jobs. They assume that they have the most important work and work the hardest. Sheldon was the jerk that said this line to someone, though.

Sheldon

"Is this your entire job? Your parents must be so proud."

Sheldon doesn't mess around when it comes to his spot. Period.

"You know what they say — revenge is a dish best served nude."

All three of these guys can be a bit uptight and need their personal space, but this particular quote is from our friend Dwight Shrute.

"No thank you. The last time I went to the theater, a man dressed as a cat sat in my lap."

While all three of these characters often believe that they're deserving of accolades on the regular, Schmidt was the one to pull out this line in the loft.

"Can we just take a moment to celebrate me?"

Schmidt and Sheldon in particular are pretty rigid neat freaks — they have their way of keeping things neat and struggle when someone tries to mess up the systems they have in place. While I'm sure that a dirty sock in their space would bother either of them, Sheldon was the one to be disturbed by this errant piece of dirty laundry.

"How on Earth can you say 'dirty sock' and 'relax' in the same sentence?"

Yep, Sheldon being clean again. This one cracks me up. Hygiene is important for sure, but I can't be the only one who finds this excessive, right?

"My hygiene is impeccable. In fact, animals don't trust me because I smell like nothing. Literally, nothing."

As someone who has made WAY too many Powerpoints in my life, I tend to agree with this Dwight-ism.

"Powerpoints are the peacocks of the business world; all show, no meat."

Stealing swag may not be any of these guys’ forte, but Schmit really isn’t sure how to do it.

"I wouldn't even begin to know how to steal a swag."

If there’s one thing that Sheldon loves, it is the sound of his own voice.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to stop listening to you and start talking."

Again, career superiority rears its ugly head. This is big talk for a guy who is forced to dress up as Sexy Santa for his company’s Christmas parties.

"She's looking for career advice and your job could be done by a vending machine."

Is it just me, or can you hear this in Sheldon’s voice, too? Unfortunately not a Sheldon quote though!

We all suck compared to Sheldon, but this insult really STINGS! I could use some ice for this burn.

"It must be humbling to suck on so many levels."

Everyone can play the victim sometimes, but Schmidt is truly the king.

I love this quote. This is probably the most relatable quote on here. In fact, I only befriend people with silly little walks.

"I think about others all the time. What I can get from them, how they can give me pleasure... do they have a silly little walk I can make fun of?"

Sheldon just has to be right. No matter if it’s Physics or sandwich-making, Sheldon has to know everything.

"You can't make a half sandwich. If it's not half of a whole sandwich, it's just a small sandwich."

These three gentlemen think very highly of themselves. To them, everyone could be considered inferior. But this bit of undeserved superiority comes from our favorite beet farmer.

"Nothing stresses me out. Except having to seek the approval of my inferiors."

Let’s be honest, any of the three very blatant men would say this, but this particular gem was a Schmidt quote.

“Bathtubs are medieval filth cauldrons… I’m not interested in simmering in testicle tea for 20 minutes.”

“Intense” is definitely a word I’d use to describe any of these three, but this was said by our Assistant \*to the\* Regional Manager, Dwight.

"You couldn’t handle my undivided attention."

As Dwight would say, “Those who can’t farm farm celery.”  
Looks like it’s time for some sitcom binging! You didn’t do super great on this quiz, but that just means that you have an excuse to rewatch some sitcoms, which is really the best punishment ever.

Schmidt said that “Without ashes to rise out of, the Phoenix would just be a bird getting up.”  
You didn’t do amazing, but you didn’t do awful, either. You may not be a beautiful Phoenix, but you’re still getting back up, little bird. Watch some sitcoms and try again!

You, like Shedon Cooper, probably “cry because others are stupid, and that makes [you] sad.”  
You may not be a genius in the field of Theoretical Physics, but you sure are a sitcom genius! You should celebrate by doing a rewatch!
